With Milan Fashion Week in full swing, I thought I'd take a break from Roberto Cavalli and Bottega Veneta to focus on my favorites looks from New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011. While I found Charlotte Ronson's ode to the 90's grunge and Tory Burch's plaid suits and preppy bow-blouse ensembles refreshingly delightful along with Jill Stuart's array of metallics and Cynthia Steffe's use of prints, I found the youthful vibrance of Anna Sui, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Marc Jacobs to be the most eye-catching. I'm excited to say that jewel tone pieces, especially in oranges and burnt reds, as well as polka dots of any shape and size, are at the top of my shopping list for Fall.
