Mad For Banana Republic's Mad Men Collection

What a treat it was to wake up this morning and get a glimpse of the long-awaited Mad Men collection by Banana Republic. The limited-edition collection is comprised of 65 pieces of apparel and accessories that reflect Mad Men's trademarked '60s style while remaining modern and wearable. The collaboration of Banana Republic's creative director Simon Kneen and his team along with the renowned Emmy winning and Mad Men costume designer, Janie Bryant, the collection includes a chic trench coat, tailored dresses, high-waisted skirts, silk tie-neck blouses and statement accessories like print scarves and leopard print pump heels.

"Working with Janie to gain a true understanding of the Mad Men look and feel was a delight," says Kneen. "Janie was instrumental in helping us achieve the series aesthetic and standard of authenticity with this capsule collection, offering sketches, her own inspirations and actual artifacts from the production set to help inspire the Mad Men within all of us."

The collection arrives in Banana Republic stores and online from August 25.
