I couldn't help but share my good friend Jemma's 21st birthday gift to me: a copy of 'On Booze' by none other than F. Scott Fitzgerald. The fact that we both appreciate literature to the point that we were the only two in Cobble Hill Cinemas who caught every literary reference in Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris, makes the gift even more sentimental. “First you take a drink,” F. Scott Fitzgerald once noted, “then the drink takes a drink, then the drink takes you.”
