Love the fact that Karlie Kloss was chosen - not only because of her avant-garde looks, but because I heard from a reliable source that she's an absolute joy to work with. I can only imagine how much fun shooting this film was!

Style Match

Day 4 of the French Open and the games just keep getting hotter. However, as the competition heats up, it's almost impossible not to notice the outfits are too. Venus Williams won her first match in Paris against Switzerland's Patty Schnyder 6-3, 6-3, yet the greatest stir was caused by her outfit. The U.S. tennis star reportedly drew whistles as she appeared on the court in a black corseted lacey red-trimmed dress of her own design. Not only that, but she paired the look with nude spandex that apparently showed every curve. This is not the first time Venus has been acknowledged by the media for something other then her skills on the court. At the Australian Open in January, the 29-year-old donned a skimpy green ensemble for her match that got her awarded the title "Australian Open Hottie."
Women have come a long way from the beginning of sports fashion. Originally, the typical tennis attire included a full-length dress, usually white, with a bustle and even a fur! It wasn't until the 1930's that hemlines began to rise and tennis dresses started to become reserved and restrictive and more breathable and stylish. Nowadays, even a tennis outfit can make a statement with designers such as Stella McCartney, Steffi Graf and Venus and Serena Williams working to create functional, yet fashionable, tennis attire, times are looking up. Go Nude This Summer

Color be damned. Spring/Summer 2010's nude color trend has continued to be the talk of the fashion world. My absolute favorite nude product? High heels. Not only do they elongate your legs, but they literally go with anything. For the most affordable pairs try Journey's Nadara Reyna pump heel at only $45 or Forever 21's leatherette peep-toe pumps at an even more affordable $23. For those with a little more cash to burn, go all out with a pair of Jimmy Choo private patent leather sandals at $950 or the Kelsi Dagger nude wedge at $148. Have fun mixing the shoes with bursts of color, or even, if you're daring , trying mixing with other neutral pieces. If anything, don't be afraid to go nude this summer!

Gap's Fall 2010 Shoe Collection Turns Heads

Take a peak at The Gap's Fall 2010 shoe collection. The lace-up peep toe wedges are part of the Pierre Hardy for Gap collaboration, and the massive, super tall lace-up boots are from the Gap mainline brand. I just want them all! I've gotta ask though, when did Gap get trendy? Let me know what you think.

Chanel Resort 2011

What better way to portray a resort line that transcends the ideal life of the carefree and glamorous jet-set then by having the models arrive to the show via speedboat? Only Karl Lagerfeld. The Chanel Resort Collection for 2011 debuted to hundreds of anxious guests as they waited patiently on the red wooden seats of the renowned Sénéquier. The German designer then proceeded to outdo himself, once again, by having his entire cast arrive by boat before continuing to channel this relaxed, laid back air with a nostalgic 1970's feel. The line consisted of long crocheted dresses, water-colored prints, ruffles, tweeds and gingham swim suits paired predominantly with tanned bare feet. With the casual feel of the collection, a model could have easier walked out the runway and just gone on to enjoy a lovely day in Saint-Tropez.
